Please read these terms of use carefully before using the aestheticsbycarly website, your use of the site is subject to these terms.
These terms set out how Aesthetics By Carly provides services to its patients. These are put in place to safeguard the clinic and to ensure maximum standards and services are offered to all our patients.
The site is operated by aestheticsbycarly Limited (aestheticsbycarly, we, our or us) of First Floor – Rituals Hair Lab, 85B High Street, Scotter, DN21 3TL.
Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatments. Should you not understand anything within these terms, please contact the clinic for clarification.
By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to them, you must not use our site.
Authorization to use the site
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may access or use the site solely for the purpose of arranging, managing, and paying for bookings with us for aesthetic treatment services.
You must not access or use the site except as permitted by these terms. In particular, you must not and must not permit any other person to:
- Pretend that you are, or that you represent, someone else, or impersonate any other individual or entity when using the site.
- Resell, assign, transfer, distribute or provide others with access to the site or any of our materials.
- Copy, modify, frame, repost, publicly perform or display, sell, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the site.
- Use the site to transmit, publish or communicate material that is defamatory, offensive, abusive, indecent, menacing or unwanted.
- Use the site in any way that damages, interferes with or interrupts the availability of the site.
- Introduce malicious programs into our hardware and software or our hardware, software and services which are integrated and operate together, including our networks, including viruses, worms, trojan horses and e-mail bombs.
- Reveal your account password to others or allow others to use your account.
- Use the site to carry out security breaches or disruptions of a network. Security breaches include accessing data where you are not the intended recipient or logging into a server or account that you are not expressly authorised to access or corrupting any data (including network sniffing/monitoring, pinged floods, packet spoofing, denial of service and forged routing information for malicious purposes).
- Use any program/script/command, or send messages of any kind, with the intent to interfere with, or disable, any person’s use of the site.
- Send any unsolicited messages through or to users of the site or to send any form of harassment via email, or any other form of messaging, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages or use the site in breach of any person’s privacy (such as by way of identity theft or “phishing”).
Any non-compliance by you with these terms shall give us the right to suspend provision of the site to you and access to your account, and to terminate our relationship with you without liability.
Reservation of rights
aestheticsbycarly own and retain their respective rights in and to all logos, company names, marks, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, know-how, patents and patent applications that are used or embodied in or otherwise related to the site. aestheticsbycarly grants no rights or licenses (implied, by estoppel, or otherwise) whatsoever to you under these terms.
Information provided to us
You are solely responsible for all data, information and other content, that you upload, post, or otherwise provide or store in connection with or relating to the site.
By providing us any information through the site, you grant aestheticsbycarly a permission to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, display, publish and perform that information in connection with treatments received and the site.
Your commitments
You represent and warrant that all information you provide to us through the site is complete, accurate and not misleading. You must ensure that you promptly provide us with any updates or changes to any information previously provided to us.
Treatment suitability
Prior to any treatment the patient will receive a full clinical assessment including the medical history, medications, past aesthetic treatments and the patient’s expectations in order to ascertain that it is safe and appropriate for the patient to undergo the treatment. Aesthetics By Carlyreserves the right to determine the suitability for you to be treated at the clinic and should it be deemed not appropriate, the reason for this will be fully discussed with you. Some treatments will not be provided to anyone under the age of 18. Photo ID may be requested by the clinic.
1. General Information
- These terms and conditions apply to all treatments and services provided by Aesthetics by Carly. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- Aesthetics by Carly is operated by Carly, a registered nurse qualified to PG Level 7, specialising in aesthetic medicine since April 2023.
2. Payment and Refunds
Payment for all treatments will be required on the day of the treatment, either in cash or via card payment in clinic prior to the treatment unless prior payment plan through our membership schemes has been agreed upon and set up.
New patients may be asked to pay for the treatment upon arrival or via our booking system prior to the treatment.
- Prices maybe subject to change to what is advertise on the website, price list and social media. Aesthetics By Carly will ensure that the price of your treatment will be discussed during your consultation and the price will also show on your booking confirmations.
- Deposits may be required for certain treatments, which are non-refundable if appointments are missed or cancelled without adequate notice.
- Refunds are not provided for completed treatments, as results may vary between individuals.
3. Appointments and Consultations
- All treatments require an initial consultation to assess suitability and discuss your goals. Consultations may be free or charged, depending on the treatment.
- A 48-hour notice period is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a charge of up to 50% of the treatment cost.
4. Health and Safety
- Clients must disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or skin sensitivities during the consultation. This ensures the safety and effectiveness of treatments.
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have specific health conditions, certain treatments may not be suitable.
- Aesthetics by Carly adheres to strict hygiene protocols and uses only high-quality, clinically approved products.
5. Results and Aftercare
- Results may vary based on individual factors, including skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare advice.
- Clients are provided with detailed aftercare instructions following each treatment. Failure to follow these guidelines may affect results and safety.
- Maintenance treatments may be recommended for optimal and lasting results.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
All our treatments require us to hold information regarding our client’s personal details along with medical information, we carry this out with the utmost care and endeavour for this information to only be used internally. No information will ever be sold to third parties.
As part of your treatment, you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire in which we will ask questions about past conditions. It is your responsibility to disclose all information required and Aesthetics By Carly will not be held responsible for anything that is not disclosed by the patient.
- Changes to your medical status must be relayed to a member of the Aesthetics By Carly before any further treatments are carried out.
- All client information and treatment details are kept strictly confidential in compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Aesthetics by Carly may use anonymized before-and-after photos for marketing purposes with your explicit consent.
7. Treatment Suitability
- Aesthetics by Carly reserves the right to decline treatments if they are deemed unsuitable for the client or if there are contraindications.
- Alternative treatments or referrals may be suggested if necessary.
8. Packages and Promotions
- Packages or promotions must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- Package treatments must be used within the specified time frame; unused sessions will not be refunded or carried forward.
- Promotions and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
9. Liability
Aesthetics By Carly will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the patient.
The patient is fully responsible to ensure that they provide Aesthetics By Carly with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment and if any changes has occurred. The patient will sign the medical questionnaire form prior to any treatment. Aesthetics By Carly will not be liable for any damage that occurs because of the patient’s failure to disclose such details.
The patient agrees to comply with all pre-treatment instructions or post-treatment care advise as recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Aesthetics By Carly.
- Aesthetics by Carly is not responsible for adverse outcomes caused by failure to disclose medical conditions or follow aftercare advice.
- While every effort is made to ensure safety and satisfaction, results are not guaranteed, and treatments are provided at the client’s own risk.
10. Complaints and Feedback
- Client satisfaction is a priority. If you are unhappy with your treatment, please contact the clinic within 7 days to discuss your concerns.
- Formal complaints must be submitted in writing and will be addressed within 14 days.
Any feedback is much appreciated, both positive and negative. Feedback is used to review and improve quality of service. You may submit feedback verbally, via email, via the clinic website.
We aim to exceed all our patients expectations and provide them a first-class service and enjoyable experience. However, we recognise that sometimes things may not go as planned.
The quickest and most effective way of resolving any problem is to contact us by emailing hello@aestheticsbycarly.com in the first instance. We will listen carefully to your concerns and do what we can to correct any problems and provide a suitable solution. A face-to-face consultation will be arranged so that the extent of the concern can be assessed, and an appropriate solution can be reached.
All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure the patient is satisfied with their treatment and experience.
Another medical practitioner may be asked to attend this review for support or as a second opinion. All official complaints will be conducted in line with and supported by Aesthetics By Carly insurance company.
Please expect a response within the first seven working days after submitting your complaint to us. A copy of our complaint policy is available upon request.
Request of treatment details
The patient is entitled to obtain a copy of all personal clinical records kept by Aesthetics By Carly. This request will need to be in writing and allow up to 14 days for this to be provided to the patient.
11. Changes to Terms
- Aesthetics by Carly reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be displayed on the website.
