Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers are a versatile and non-invasive solution aimed at revitalising your skin by restoring lost volume, smoothing out wrinkles, and enhancing facial contours. Perfect for those seeking to counteract the effects of aging or environmental exposure without surgery, fillers offer immediate results with minimal downtime. Whether you’re looking to plump your lips, define your cheekbones, or smooth nasolabial folds, dermal fillers provide a tailored approach to beauty, making them an excellent option for anyone looking to refresh their appearance with lasting, natural-looking results.

Dermal Filler Areas

A brow lift with dermal fillers can be achieved by injecting the fillers into the area above the eyes to help restore the fullness of the upper eyelid. The fat around the upper eyelid and brow area is gradually lost with age, which can lead to a skeletal looking brow.

Tear trough filler is a quick, non-surgical solution to restore under-eye volume, reduce dark circles, and refresh your appearance. This minimally invasive treatment delivers immediate, natural-looking results for a rejuvenated look.

Cheek filler is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that increase cheek volume and define your cheekbones giving your cheeks a fuller, more defined look. Filler is injected into and around your cheeks.

  • Define and enhance your cheekbones.
  • Increase volume of your cheeks.
  • Look more youthful.
  • Plump up wrinkles.
  • Smooth lines.

As we age, one of the most prominent signs of ageing can be the deepening of nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These folds are a natural part of facial anatomy but can become more pronounced over time due to factors like skin laxity, volume loss, and repetitive facial expressions. Fortunately, dermal fillers for nasolabial folds offer a non-surgical solution to smooth and rejuvenate this area, restoring a youthful appearance.

Smokers Lines also commonly known as lipstick lines are noticeable lines around the mouth and across the lips. If you suffer from smokers lines, soft dermal lip fillers are a highly effective way of smoothing out the skin for a fresher look.

Lines on the top lip detract from the face’s second most important feature, the mouth. If you feel these lines are knocking your confidence, this is the treatment for you. It’s long lasting, safe and easily reversible.

Over time we may start to see small lines coming out from the borders of the lips (particularly the top lip). Often they extend vertically from the lips and are sometimes called smokers’ lines or lipstick lines.

Softening upper lip lines is a great confidence booster and appreciated once lipstick is applied. The treatment is done with the lightest and softest dermal filler and gives instant results.

The nasolabial fold is the deep crease running from either side of the nose down towards the corners of the mouth. This crease becomes more noticeable as part of the natural ageing process. Fat is lost from the cheeks, reducing skin volume and making this fold appear deeper. Repeated smiling or having a “big smile” may result in permanent, deep creases in this area.

Deep nasolabial folds can be corrected through injections of dermal filler into the surrounding area, restoring the lost volume and softening the appearance of these creases. The goal of nasolabial fold injections is to even out the skin volume, leaving you with a smoother, refreshed-looking appearance.

Marionette lines (mouth to chin lines) often develop with age. As we age, our chin bones tend to resorb slowly which can lead to the down turning of the corners of the mouth and the development of marionette lines. They tend to be more obvious when the face is relaxed.

Dermal fillers are used to treat marionette lines. Injection is administered into the line itself and at the corners of the mouth to soften the appearance of the line and lift the corners of the mouth.

Lip fillers are one of the most popular types of dermal filler. They increase the volume of your lips.

A chin filler injection is a nonsurgical procedure that alters the contour and definition of the chin.

Chin fillers can create a stronger jawline, making the face appear more youthful. These injections can also add more definition between the face and neck.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, dermal fillers typically last longer than Botox. Botox works by temporarily relaxing muscles to reduce wrinkles and lasts around 3-4 months. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, add volume and structure to the skin and can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of filler, treatment area, and individual metabolism.

The longevity of dermal fillers varies based on the type of filler used, the area treated, and how quickly your body metabolises it. On average:

  • Lip filler: 6-12 months
  • Cheek and jawline filler: 12-18 months
  • Tear trough filler: 12-18 months
  • Nasolabial folds & marionette lines: 9-18 months
  • Chin filler: 12-24 months
As dermal filler naturally breaks down, the treated area gradually returns to its original shape. Filler does not stretch or sag the skin once it dissolves. In fact, repeated treatments can stimulate collagen production, sometimes leading to subtle long-term improvements in skin quality.
Most patients find dermal filler treatments tolerable. I use numbing cream and fillers containing lidocaine to minimise discomfort. You may feel slight pressure or mild stinging during the injections, but overall, the procedure is quick and comfortable.
